A modern investigation is a digital investigation. ROHOVOT combines a California PI license with real forensic capability — so we don’t just find answers, we preserve them as evidence.
What can a licensed PI legally do in California?
A licensed investigator can lawfully conduct surveillance, background and asset research, interviews, public-records and database checks, and digital investigations — always within the law. Licensing matters: in California it is unlawful to accept investigative work for compensation without a BSIS license, and evidence gathered by an unlicensed party can be challenged. You can verify our license (190161) with the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services.
Why a cyber-focused investigator?
Because the evidence that decides cases now lives on phones, in accounts, and online. A cyber-focused PI can investigate that terrain and preserve what it finds with forensic chain of custody — bridging traditional investigation and court-admissible digital evidence.
