Signs your account is compromised
- You are logged out and your password no longer works
- Recovery email or phone number was changed
- Messages or posts you did not create
- Logins from unfamiliar devices or locations
- Security settings or MFA were disabled
How we recover an account
We investigate how access was lost, assemble the ownership evidence providers require, pursue escalated recovery channels, and — once you are back in — remove the attacker’s footholds and harden the account so it cannot simply be retaken.
